FEDERAL law requires abuse and neglect to be reported and every nurse regardless of where she works knows this. If true what kind of home is she in that would allow this to continue?

That's a very good question .. one that I don't have the answers for .. but I do think should be look into.

The problem is, that while M. Schiavo has done things that are morally reprehensible, he hasn't done anything Judge Greer didn't allow him to do. Terri is not in a Permanent Vegetative State, she is chronicly ill and disabled. The Hospice there isn't even licensed to treat chronicly ill...only disabled. Only terminal. This was noted in an Opertion Restore Trust investigation of the Suncoast Hospice by the Health & Human Services Office of the Inspector General. I've got the .pdf file.

Of 264 cases active in hospice over 210 days when Operation Restore Trust did their review, 176 were not eligible for hospice coverage and for 118 they were unable to conclusively determine their terminal illness.

Compare this to only 78 cases in San Diego in which 37 were ineligible and only 19 for which they were unable to determine terminal illness.

Compare this also to Dallas with only 26 active cases in which 20 were not eligible, and only 2 for which "medical records... were insufficient to conclusively determine a life expectancy of 6 months or less, as required by Medicare.

I'm telling you, something is really fishy at Suncoast.
