Tom, look out for your mailbox to have a brown mailer in it! Some folks have already gotten their books.

Couple of too dark pictures of some stuff I wanted to bring. The compass and the sewing kit are original. The 9MM broomhandle was factory refinished. Yeah, I know, the grips are missing the Red Nine.

Looks like I can probably make this one. It took all summer, but I finally got everyone's luggage back to them.
The weather should be agreeable - Mostly clear. Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Well, the drive between Cass and Bexar counties is a bit much for a one-day shoot...
But, since I just finished building the 100-yard backstop berm, and will be on the tractor building the (8-position) smallbore/handgun backstop berm on my private range here, I'll be sure to carry along some "toys" and burn some powder at the same time the rest of you are... :-)
Then, I'll start work on the 200-yard berm. That's a fur piece to haul dirt one frontloader bucket at a time -- but I'm almost too lazy to load and unload the trailer for such a relatively small job. (Besides, the 200-yard firing lane I cleared through the piney woods has more than a few stumps left in it...)
-------
I'll be with y'all in spirit on Saturday! Punch a few holes (both large and fast) for me!

Too bad you dont have a 1000 yard range. My custom made Remington 700 in .300 Winmag just gets warmed up at 300 yards.
