Yeah, I took those the day I was there.
The lady told me how to get back to the gathering area, and, of course, I got lost and wound up on someone else's property behind the range which wasn't bad except it was behind the butts those military guys were using.
They were all snipers, and I'm glad they could at least hit the butts.

Hey Shooter, I remember that thread or one almost like it where you set me straight on the "automatic" revolver...I think you ordered it shortly after and sent a few pictures...interesting weapon... That broom handle is beautiful...

I can't be there gang.... Hubby left town and I'm in charge of the critters and the farmette while he's off playing poker and smoking cigars with my brother and "the boys" of the family in Gulf Shores.
The only good part is when he gets home and pays me my cut of his winnings ($100.00)! I call it my commission, LOL!

We sure look forward to meeting you!!!! Well, I'm not sure I'm all that much to be looking forward to, but at 350 pounds or so, you'll have a hard time missing me.

Looks like I can probably make this one. It took all summer, but I finally got everyone's luggage back to them.
The weather should be agreeable - Mostly clear. Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Near Canada.
To: Eaker
I guess I could knock the rust off my Benjamin pellet rifle and
maybe even the Daisy BB gun.. I'll be there!

Thanks for the ping, Eaker. Sorry I can't make it. It's a bit of a drive from my locale in Florida! $:-)

Thank you.
I try to collect the weird stuff.
The Broomhandle started to pierce primers. I read somewhere the company didn't do a good job on the firing pins. It's easy to remove it but I have to find a replacement before I start whittling on this one. I think it's too long and sharp.
Tamara on TheHighRoad owns a Mateba. I'm surprised so few people on them. Hey, maybe everyone else is too embarrassed to admit it.

Well, most custom autos can cost that much. I did see a Mateba on GunsAmerica.com[good site] for a Grand. That motivated me.

Now I gotta eat your steak and lobster tail!
Well, maybe I can feed it to this little varmint:

Well, the drive between Cass and Bexar counties is a bit much for a one-day shoot...
But, since I just finished building the 100-yard backstop berm, and will be on the tractor building the (8-position) smallbore/handgun backstop berm on my private range here, I'll be sure to carry along some "toys" and burn some powder at the same time the rest of you are... :-)
Then, I'll start work on the 200-yard berm. That's a fur piece to haul dirt one frontloader bucket at a time -- but I'm almost too lazy to load and unload the trailer for such a relatively small job. (Besides, the 200-yard firing lane I cleared through the piney woods has more than a few stumps left in it...)
-------
I'll be with y'all in spirit on Saturday! Punch a few holes (both large and fast) for me!
