U.S. light vehicle sales, market share for August

 DETROIT, Sept 3 (Reuters) - The following chart represents
U.S. light vehicle sales totals, individual automaker results
and market share for the month of August. Percent changes are
based on the daily sales rate.
 The seasonally adjusted annual rate is calculated using
seasonal factors supplied by the U.S. Commerce Department.

Ford, GM, and Chrysler, have been laying off americans(who buy american cars) and hiring indians and chinese who buy japanese cars. What else would they expect?

Tax refund and cash-out re-fi money (mostly) bought foreign cars and increased our trade deficit. US automakers continue to lose share. Ford just raised 1.B Euros in debt yesterday and announced production cutbacks. GM also announced production cutbacks, in South America and Europe (I think).
