Most prisons have a visiting room photographer. The proceeds go for prisoner activities stuff.
The prisoners wear their prison issue khakis or greens or orange or blues....never heard of putting on a suit.
The visiting room photographer is usually a prisoner too...often a dandy of the warden.

You know, I actually thought this was a joke, based on what category you placed this in.
Imagine my chagrin when it turned out to be true.
This is absolutely frickin' ridiculous. Apparently it has not dawned on some people these people are criminals and they were put in prison to be punished.
Well, that was the original intent of prisons anyway.

With just a little traing and direction from some techie inmates, this will allow all of them to have a stack of new indentity documents waiting for them when they "graduate."
"Sure, we'll take a check, but I'll need to see a picture ID."
"Well, if you are sure you didn't already vote, I'll need to see a picture ID. Thank you, Mr. Epstein and, may I say, you speak Spanish like it was your native tongue."
