Of course, the air was so dangerous in New York that thousands have become ill and died. Or they will, just you wait. One can almost imagine Thompson attributing to Bush the mindset of Dr. Evil.
First among them, of course, will be the President himself, who spent some time there--and of course all the politicians who paraded through Ground Zero.
Although I haven't really heard of anyone falling ill...must have missed the news stories. (/sarcasm)
