4-5 days...I've never been told that...but our repainting has always been done before moving in or after moving out.

Are they removing the popcorn texturing from the ceiling? That's a very messy job, and they probably don't want you in the area. That lets them move or cover furniture and get it all done rather than doing just one room at a time.

(My expert daughter-in-law tells me a lot depends on who you use...a professional is going to do one room at a time so they can clear it out entirely while scraping.)

Yeah, the popcorn's coming down and I do NOT want to be in here for that. I'm going to be across the street, easily accessible.

The thing that gets to me is someone ELSE having free run of the house for 4-5 days. I DO understand their not wanting us underfoot...it's the getting booted out that isn't setting right with me.

This is the FIRST TIME we've had someone else do this for us. Gramps decided that since we're doing the one part, let's go for broke.
