If anyone deserves the Governors post, it is McClintock.

Oh yeah, he deserves it because he sat back and said "I told you so" Great. He had no leadership ability to thwart the problems while being in the Senate. The only time he's ever created a stir was when the Democrats supported him against Wilson in 1991. Not only did he not rally the troops against Davis, he didn't even get noticed by the media.

Nobody knows the guy, he should have been front and center screaming his head off about the impending financial doom. I know he's made statements predicting the doom but that just goes to show that nobody takes him seriously. He's been around twenty plus years and he is not a leader.

If it hadn't been for Darryl Issa's money, McClintock would still be picking his bum in Thousand Oaks whining about Davis.

So would Arnold.

But Issa did the studly thing. He spent over a million dollars of his own freaking money, and when Arnold got in, Issa thought of the party first and backed out of the race.

Issa has walked the walk for his party. I wish to hell TMC would do the same.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

What???? You better get your money back on that history book.

If you haven't heard him, then that's YOUR problem. Go to your library and read through the newspaper archives on the Legislature in Sacramento for the past 20 years.
