ELKO, Nev. (AP) -- Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean is flying from campaign stop to campaign stop with a distinct Nevada flair.
His campaign booked his flights through a charter booker and the booker signed up with Casino Express.
The Elko-based carrier normally carries gamblers from a variety of cities to the Red Lion Inn and Casino in Elko, but it had a plane free.
The flights started on Saturday, when Casino Express picked Dean up in Washington, DC, and flew him to Milwaukee, then on the following day to Boise, Idaho; Portland, Oregon, and Seattle.
Casino Express provides the crew, as well as the Boeing 737, which is one of four it owns. Along with Elko, jets are based in Memphis, Tennessee; Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

I don't like joking about things like this...however, I hope Dean has better luck than I had (on TWO occasions) flying on gambling "junkets." They were 737s as well. Champion Air. AKA-Tree-Top Airlines.

So on which card does Howard Dean appear? Given his personality, he should definitely be a club.

Can someone check to see if "Casino Express" is a unionized carrier? It would be so great to find that his purchasing guy got a little on the side (cash or stewardess, or, since it's Dean, steward) and rejected one of the union carriers.
