Grey Davis Confirms Former President Bill Clinton Coming to California to Stump Against Recall

ABC News' Apton reports that on a private jet ride from San Francisco to Los Angleles, California Governor Grey Davis told a handful of press that former President Bill Clinton will come out to California 'and do events for us.'

'We haven't nailed down the precise events, but he's coming out in part to campaign with me.'

This is the fiest time that someone in the Governor Grey Davis camp has confirmed Clinton campaigning with the Governor in Mid September.

President Clinton is scheduled to be in California from September 15-17, but there is still no confirmation (from his press representatives) of any scheduled Davis campaign events for the former President.

My only interest in the California Recall is what happens after it's over- will we have a large number of refugees fleeing north to Washington State that totally screw up our state even more?

Well if Clinton campaigns for Davis this means he is toast for sure. Bye, Bye, Gray. The Clintons know that if they can somehow clutch Davis's sorry ass from certain defeat then Davis will owe the Clintons big time in the fututre. Can you say 56 electorial votes?
