I never said it was the highlight of her life or anything like that. I said it was a tragedy. You seem to have some sort of agenda.
We must separate what happened on the battlefield, which she had no control over, and what she is doing now.

The only way that I can reconcile your characterization, is if she were thinking about how she was going to profit from her torture as it was occurring. Profiting from it after the fact is making lemonade out of lemons. Not exactly seemly, but not quite at the level you describe.
