In one recurring dream he is consumed by snakes in the Mekong Delta. In another, according to Heinz, he shouts: "Get down! I got the women and the children! Get down, get down!" In the throes of such a dream, Kerry often leaps out of bed and crashes into bedroom furniture...

I'm not going to attack his service in vietnam

But his wife makes Kerry sound like he's not wrapped to tight

I didn't mean to attack his service.

I wanted to highlight the part where, in his dreams supposedly, he adds the line "I got the women and children!".

That's a stretch, to put it mildly.

I wouldn't attack most people's service in Vietnam either, but this guy, JFK(erry), uses it as a prop, so I think it's a fair target.

He actually had someone shoot video footage of his exploits there, because he planned to use it in his political career. He was already planning ahead...

I am certainly not a supporter of Kerry, but I don't think making a mockery of his service in Vietnam is useful or helpful. Whether you like it or not, Kerry served his country under fire and placed his life on the line. He wasn't a draft dodger amd didn't see a deferment or service in the National Guard. The only thing I find ironic is the fact that Kerry expressed his shame at participation in the war after he came home and now he wears it as a badge of honor.
