Hi there- Bubba and Lucy are doing ok. We've had a few loud thunderstorms lately and Lucy definitely doesn't like that. She goes to the middle of house and huddles until it's over.
I'm getting a little concerned about Bubba. You know he's 15 and had his eye removed a year and a half ago. He's starting to not make his jumps up onto the couch or the bed as well as he used to. Don't know if its his age or his eyesight or both.

The diet is going pretty well. I lost 12 pounds in 6 weeks. For me, that's absolutely wonderful. My clothes are fitting better. I had a bunch of folks over this past weekend and several people commented on my weight loss. THAT felt great! I've had a small retreat on the weight loss but the birthday cake had a lot to do with that! LOL.

I probably won't be around much for the next few weeks. Finally going on vacation - just in time for Hurricaine whateveritis to hit the east coast beaches - and I'm heading that way. Maybe Pat Robertson will pray that God will redirect the hurricaine so my vacation won't be ruined. [grin] I may only be able to lurk but I always love the pet threads!
