Also, ask yourself WHY?

Why not? I used to do a lot of drinking and sailing, producing lots of memories. I live in Oklahoma now, so sailing is out, and I also don't drink much anymore. This is a nice wholesome way to do something productively stupid that I can be proud of and tell my grand kids about.

Well, there goes my strategy.

I once ate a little over $800 worth of sushi. I don’t know how much it was in terms of weight though. I just remember that it was a LOT of sushi.

That was the result of about 7 hours of heavy drinking with a bunch of Korean businessmen. Booze has always had that affect on me – not beer or wine, just many glasses of scotch over a period of hours has always left me almost insatiably hungry. I wouldn’t recommend doing it just for fun though.

That’s the same way a lot of those Cajun kids could eat about 10 pounds of red beans and rice – they’d been drinking since about 7:00am. By the time lunch rolled around they were ravenously hungry and could pack it away.

(We worked on a barge for a surveying crew and it was hot and muggy enough in southern Louisiana that they’d often get sick and puke it back over the side of the barge shortly after eating it - but it was pretty impressive the amount of food they’d eat.)

consider taking reglan 2 hours prior the meal. It will enhance gastric emptying.
