One more thing I have to add...

I think people who get abortions are out of their minds. I bet that if people would think "what if that were me in there and my mom was going to have me aborted" the abortion rate would drop drastically.

Why don't they just choose adoption? Why is it so dang hard to let a child live?? It makes no sense! We seem to live in a world where animals are of more importance than a human life....where the protection of trees takes dominance over the protection of an unborn baby.

Abortion is just one more way our society helps us convince ourselves that our actions aren't our fault. "Sleep around? Do things out-of-order? Get an abortion! They'll never know! It's not your fault, here's a quick-fix!" These bleeding heart liberals and planned parenthood people trumpet this like a national anthem. It's just sick. I hope these people have nightmares for the rest of their pathetic lives.

That's all I have to say...I need to go, I'm nearly crying. Thanks...

You wrote, "I think people who get abortions are out of their minds." Perhaps, but don't lose sight of the fact that they have been lied to for three plus deacdes regarding the individual human being in the womb. It is the stock and trade lie of the defenders of the indefensible that the victims are not human beings. Too many take that lie to heart if it serves the behavior to which they wish to engage.

I can make a good case for there being an individual human being in the womb or even in a petri dish prior to artificial implantation. Many scientists would heartily agree, and in fact the science of Embryology is based upon this truth. But there are too many who will deny this truth because it contradicts the excuse they give themselves for dehumanizing the prenatal all through the gestational age.

Soon, our antion will be embracing cannibalism in the name of enlightened application of biological sciences. There are already powerful Senators supporting, defending and championing the evil. No less than Nancy Reagan supports it and the AARP publishes her support for it. It doesn't change the truth that what they defend and push is cannibalism. But there will be euphemistic terms devised to hide the truth from the average clueless American, until the behavior is well established in the American system. Then, it will be too late to reverse the evil, just as it has been with abortion on demand and tens of thousands of alive, sentient, prenatal infants slaughtered each year as the natural extension of the evil in dehumanizing the prenatal class of fellow human beings. An entire political party defends and champions this evil, so how are clueless Americans to understand that what the party is defending so vigorously is in fact deep, pernicious evil?

First of all, let me say that I'm as pro-life as they come, but I think I can answer your question. Or at least I can give a few reasons why they don't let the child live. First of all, being pregnant is not the most pleasant thing for many of us. I've had four children and I had night and day sickness for all nine months each time. I was even vomiting the week I gave birth to my third child. Believe me, if I knew what I was in for and didn't want to be pregnant and had no scruples or an understanding that I would be killing my child, I'd have an abortion. All this to say that "letting the child live" is a sacrifice. It's not always easy. I'm not making excuses for people who do get abortions, but I'm trying to explain why they might do so.

Secondly, I spoke to my brother's girlfriend once about an abortion she had. I couldn't believe how flip she was about it. Her comment to me was, "Hey, if I wasn't going to raise that baby, no one else was, either!" That's pretty sick, if you ask me.

But, not wanting to go through with the pregnancy is probably just being selfish. In our society, we don't think we should have to suffer, even if we have done wrong. We think only of ourselves.

My father was the product of a 16 year old pregnacy in 1947. His mother left him at a local families house and has nerver tried to contact him. I think over and over that if she had the option she probably would have aborted him.

He is a wonderful person. Worked as many as three jobs at a time when we were growing up because he loved his family so much. I have never even heard him raise his voice to my mother.

My brother and I both have PhD's in mathematics and my sister has a Master's in teaching. We are all trying our hardest to be worthy of having this man for our father.

If my dad had been aborted how many 'choices' would this woman have made for all the people he has touched?

Might I suggest that we should have the mother take it one step further, and keep her (dang) legs closed. (I'm using this as a courtesy to our catholic friends!) How hard is it to either do without, or even spend the $.25 to prevent, as opposed to the value of life?

Check in here to see what the Murderers are trying to prevent. Logan is one tough cookie, and continues to annoy the murderers because of his improvement.
