If Davis and the Dems give the illegals drivers licenses isn't it just one short step from drivers license to registered voter? I think that is the plan.

I guess I've never understood this issue. Clinton's motor-voter law required the DMV to provide voter registration application forms with drivers license application forms. You don't need the latter to apply to vote; you just have to provide name/birthdate/address and sign an oath that you're a citizen.

Obviously illegal aliens should be deported, not given drivers licenses that establish (illegal) residency and help them pretend to be legally here. But, how do the licenses help illegal aliens vote in CA, where pollworkers do not check voters' ID?

Perhaps the idea is that by authorizing drivers licenses for illegals that will encourage thousands of them to go to DMV for the licenses and while there they will be encouraged to fill out the voters registration cards. Most will have been prepped as to what to do. Then, bingo! A bonanza of new Democrats.
