The Catholic Church should consider ex-communicating the lesbian couple. Canon 915 states: Those who are excommunicated or interdicted after the imposition or declaration of the penalty and others who obstinately persist in manifest [i.e., public]grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.
Lesbian couples are indeed those "who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin." Especially when they manifest [make public and therefore cause public scandal] their own grave sin by publicly pronouncing their lesbian relationship.

The "mothers" will not be attending the school, however.
If the little girl qualifies for admission otherwise, and of course it is possible that she does not--but if she does, I have to wonder what SHE has done to be denied your church's educational opportunities.
I'm NOT saying the state should force them to admit her. I just think it's a terrible thing for any church to condemn a child for having bad parents, when they could give her a chance to overcome that.
Smacks of the concept of the unwanted bastard throw-away child.
