I'm not the only Bible believing Christian who you've thrown your contempt and wild accusations at, simply for disagreeing with you.
I'll paraphrase one of the emails I got from another one;
*While I share the Biblical view and that of the Church on homosexuality, and oppose the pro-gay agenda, I feel that Polycarp's uncritical acceptance for anything that supports his position and his brazen and self-righteous damnation of anyone who dares to question him, demonstrates what he is all about.
Disagreement with Polycarp is akin to heresy, at least in his misguided opinion.
Just wanted to let you know that not all Catholic FReepers adhere to that kind of rank zealotry.
Remember what James says about would-be spiritual teachers who become conceited ... they are to suffer the same penalty as the devil.
Polycarp's biggest problem is that in his worldview, ALL those who disagree with him are not merely wrong but EVIL.
And he thinks this gives him the right to accuse them of anything under the sun. It's very difficult to deal rationally with such people.*
This says it all.
Just because we believe the Bible that homosexuality is a sin doesn't mean that we have to join in your deranged obession with bashing gays.
