I heard somewhere that the "fund" is around $750,000. Really, not a princely sum these days (although more than my net worth).

Maybe it's too late, but funds have been raised for less worthy causes. If that $750,00 could be raised on her behalf, he'd get his money and he could divorce her, and then the settlement funds would still be there to provide for her care.

Well ... it's a thought ... something has to move this situation in a different direction.

The court is allowing her "husband" to use this money to pay her "doctor" at $450/hr if I remember correctly. I saw something about that on Terri's website this evening.

According to one article I read, there is only about $350,000 left. The parents offered to pay him whatever is left if he would give up guardianship, but he refused.
