The Roman Catholic Church (search) will intensify its efforts to prevent legalization of same-sex marriage, the president of the nation's Catholic bishops said Friday. Smart idea

I guess the Catholic Church forget to read:
The Gossipol according to the "Episcopal Church USA" ..
1)Thy shall allow openly-practicing gay Bishops.
2) Thy shall Bless and approve the Same Sex-unions of thy people (Shhhhhh Gay marriages are ok too ..shhh)
3) Thy shall choose and pick what thy like in the " bible" according to thy needs or wants of thy people.
4) Thy shall only remember only 5/10 Commandments .

The first thing the Catholics have to do is stop voting RAT.
The current sexual-abuse crisis "is not a moment when the church needs to, or in fact intends to, review every one of our constitutive qualities and identities and beliefs and practices," Gregory said. "It's a moment of very intense feelings, raw feelings, but the whole store is not up for sale."Make sure you remind all the bishops and seminaries of the February 1961 ban, which is still in effect, on ordaining homosexuals, Wilton.

To have the Catholic Church endorse the Constitutional Amendment defining marriage between a man and woman would up the anty considerably. Bush might be forced to lead the fight then.

A simple freepmail is all it takes to subscribe to or unsubscribe from scripter's homosexual agenda ping list. If you wish to be added to the list in scripter's absence, please FReepmail me.

I am not Catholic, but I say THANK GOD for the Catholic Church when it comes to defending Christian morality from this sort of insanity.

"I don't believe that there is any linkage between the abuse of children and celibacy," he added, because if that were so, sexual abuse within families would not be so widespread. How can he say the above and then say this:
Yet another aspect of the abuse scandal is a pending investigation of all American seminaries. Gregory indicated he opposes a suggestion from some conservatives that seminaries should bar all clergy candidates with a homosexual orientation, even if they are committed to celibacy.
Being a homosexual means never having to be celibate. What is wrong with this Gregory???? Homosexual infiltration of the seminaries is the SOLE cause of the whole abuse problem.
Personally my humble opinion is that priests ought to be able to marry as in Orthodox churches, but since I am not a member of the Catholic church nor yet the Pope, it isn't my decision to worry about and my opinion doesn't matter.
