Arnold stated that he wanted to study 54 further and wasn't taking a position on it yet either for OR against.

He DID vote for and publicly support Prop 187, so no, he wouldn't be likely to sandbag a measure he pushed for, would he? He also opposes drivers licenses for illegals.

Yeah, but he no longer supports 187.

He even said that he thought it was wrong to kick illegals out of public school or off welfare.

"It's for the children," you know.

At age 55 Arnold still cannot easily define where he comes down on this issue, should read, "Our extensive polling on this issue is still too close to call, so for the time being, I am unable to tell you where I stand on the issue."
