There are a lot of Christians that believe in using deadly force to save lives.

You're not saving any lives. You are actually going to lead to more killing by driving public opinion away from the pro-life direction in which it's moving.

I do not condone the killing of abortionists or murder of any kind, but if forced to choose the one I considered most guilty of the crime of murder, I would choose the abortionists, who murder for profit under the guise of being a refuge for women suffering the disease of pregnancy.

The idea that public opinion will be swayed against abortion reform because of the desperate act of one driven to despair because of the wanton destruction of innocent human life may, but should not, have merit. Every one of these cases generates high interest; the abortionist sympathizers see to that. We see by the Sept 11 and the Judge Moore situations that people, other than those gradually swayed by reason [not nearly enough], wake up to justice only when hit with injustice smack in the face. What will it take to spark the conscience of minds that accept the distorted reasoning of Roe V Wade?

I pray that pro life zealots will not fall into the trap of resorting to murder to act out their desire for justice. Absent hidden motives, and not done in a cowardly manner, murder for the purpose of saving lives, IMO, does not a monster create. It is still murder, and the guilty should face the consequences under the law, but should not IMO be considered more deserving of condemnation than those whose "legal" murders are the target of his desperate act.
