We must remain United Richard. Please understand the importance of every Conservative Republican. We each have a job to do.

My conservative rear is going to remain that way. Let the Republicans fend for themselves. They gone too far to the left for me. I'd vote for GW in a heartbeat if he just closed the southern border or even attempted to reduce government spending. I don't see that happening.

I agree that the border does need work. George W. Bush needs your help in closing it though.

If he gets re-elected..which he will with our help.

I guarantee you will see those borders close QUICKLY!

Remember that those borders were left open for eight years, and its going to take some time to close them.

Literally and politically. When Bush gets re-elected he will be able to do so much more than he is doing now. No more compromises.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought the President made these issues of education and healthcare/pharmaceuticals (for the elderly) promises in his campaign speeches when he ran for office. A politician who keeps his promises is rare and he did run as an ambiguous "compassionate" conservative Republican so still no sign of betrayal there.

One final note, a President sets the agenda but Congressional legislation is what puts it on his table to sign. Too many people forget that this President is hamstrung by not having a people's "mandate" ie Gore stole the win in national popular votes. G.W. Bush had to compromise without this mandate and in doing so took the "legs" out from under the Dems platform.

You want to see him act as a Conservative Republican then energize your local voting base to give him a landslide victory in '04 and the Republican Party will gain more House/Senate seats on his coat-tails. Don't judge a man without stepping into his moccasins.
