You make it sound like he is squandering his money. And I knwo for a fact that he's one of the most frugal people on the planet.

The people who contribute large sums to campiagns are the ones who want a busy-body government to intervene and give them an edge; trial lawyers, public utilities, labor unions, envrionmentalists, developers.....

A candidate like McClintock who thinks that government needs to do less, and pass less laws will always have a hard time taking in those donations intended to grease the wheels of government activism.

Maybe it sounds that way to you, but I said NO SUCH THING. I said fundRAISING.

So I will say it more clearly. McClintock's achille's heel is his FAILURE to raise enough money.

It brings into question, his overall political and management skill.
