If we vote for Arnold we move farther away from voting in a real Republican. If the Republican party sees that the voters are going to vote for a Republican that is 95% liberal, then in the next elelction, the most "viable" candidate will by 96% liberal and so on. The trend will continue until there is no difference between the parties.

Not really! It the first step in weening the state back into Conservatives. Incrementally.

"There is Arnold, or Bustamante. Any other discussions this late in the game are an exercise in futility."

Cut that out! This is no place for reason! Only fanatacism and parnoid assertions can exist here! Otherwise your a RINO!

Ahhh, my apologies, after confusing you with someone I was arguing with yesterday I thought I was resuming the fray. You didn't say anything that sounded offensive to me. I respect your opinion.

Sorry pal, but you don't jump into a lake without sticking your toe in the water. Arnold is the toe. If he saves California, then more extreme Conservatism will be welcome. Right now, its pointless to critize someone willing to bale the water to try to keep the sink from sinking. If the state gets the royal flush, gun control and abortion will be the least of your worries. Mexico will be baling them out...after they finsh taking the state over that is.

I would recommend that, when insulting others' mental capacities, one might consider employing a spellchecking tool.

Actually I was evaluating their mental stability and their grasp on reality. I wasn't holding a spelling bee. But that's because I don't have stick up up my butt about such things.

support McClintock

Why? All we've heard is 'vote for me because everybody else is wrong'. Just doesn't get it.

"That's ridiculous. Arnold is polling at around 22-25% in the liberal media polls, he's probably a point or two below that among high-propensity voters."

Well here is the source(http://www.surveyusa.com/currentelectionpolls.html). This was a recent random phone call survey of HIGHLY LIKELY VOTERS. Sponsered by TV stations across the state. Your vaunted porn publisher and short TV star do not make a wrinkle in the outcome. Nor will they.

Don't believe the liberal hype. This is between Ahnold and Cruz

Survey USA Governor Replacement 8/26/2003

Schwarzenegger 45%
Bustamante 29%
McClintock 11%
Ueberroth 6%
Huffington 3%
Other 4%
Undecided 2%

Data Collected: 8/23/03 - 8/25/03

Geography: State of California
Universe: 572 Certain Voters
Margin of Error 4.2%
Client: KABC-TV Los Angeles, KGTV-TV San Diego, KPIX-TV San Fancisco, KXTV-TV Sacramento

As wrong as Bustamante? Because that's who's going to win if you vote for anyone other than Arnold. Only those with the Buchananoid (or Naderoid) mentality believe differently--they, though, will meet reality later. The only problem is that they still won't recognize it.

Yes. That was the poll that was done by auto dialer with no humans involved. I believe that, sure. Yep.

As for liberal hype. It's all over FR these days and I don't believe it. I don't believe that a liberal baby killing, gun grabbing, homo loving, tax raising, pervert who is a member of the Kennedy family is the future of the Rpeublican party.
