The following photographs depict real-life abortions in progress. They are provided as evidence of the physical toll that surgical abortion takes on a woman's reproductive system. Areas outside of the immediate procedure have been heavily pixelized. Click image to enlarge (close pop-up window after viewing).

I want to ask some questions about the abortion issue in the US. I am in my heart against abortions, but I recognise the fact, at least in my country, that it will be difficult to stop them as this is a little debated issue and there seems to be a big majority support for the current system. Here as in most countries the abortions laws were decided by the parliment, not by some small group of lawiers like the supreme court of the US did.
I feel that is wrong having such a small, unelected group of people decide such a major issue. But I am also not happy with the current laws, but I can at least fight for changes by democratic means and it is not impossible that there will be a parlimentary majority for changing the laws one day, although now it is more likely that such changes would result in it beeing even easier to have abortions than now.
Iceland was one of the first countries to allow abortions in the 1930´s, but it had to be accepted by a committee of doctors and other specialists on socialogical or medical grounds but that committee was sometimes way to long taking decisionswich resulted in abortions taking blace often on the fifth and sixth month of pregnasies, of course way to long into the pregnancy. But the changes made to the law in the 1970´s were bad, it should have been enough to just speed up the decision process of the committee.
Now pregnant women can decide to have abortions completely on their own as late as on 16. week of their pregnancies, but pregnancies are also done later than that in case of medical reasons if the mothers health or life is threatened by the pregnancies. Actually between 12. and 16. week the decision can be referred to the committee (or another I am not sure) if some disagreement rises between doctors and the woman wether or not abortions should take place. But it seems that the committe is packed by pro choise people, even though it is so late in the pregnancy so it says almost newer no.
How is it, for how long time into the pregnancies can women in the US have abortions, and do they have to show that there are any grounds for the decision like here? Do they maybe have to show some medical reasons to have abortions after some time into the pregnancies like here? Or is it true that abortions are often done s late as into the 27. week? How about the abortion pill (RU-486) is that allowed? What about postinor, is that allowed?
I'll take care of yours, Laz. With the ketamine and fentanyl I'll give you, you won't feel a thing, before or after.
Do they maybe have to show some medical reasons to have abortions after some time into the pregnancies like here? Or is it true that abortions are often done s late as into the 27. week? The Planned Parenthood, NOW and NARAL goons have accomplished a state where a woman can order a killing even into the week of anticipated delivery. And a U.S. legislature passed ban on one particularly heinous infanticide emthod--partial birth abortion--is being challenged as 'unconstitutional' by the abortion worshipping goons and supported by their democrat politicians.
How about the abortion pill (RU-486) is that allowed? Not only available, Planned Parenthood, NOW,NARAL and the democrat party are working hard to have it available over the counter, without a docotr's prescription!
At conception, whether in a lab dish or a woman's fallopian tube, a new individual human ORGANISM comes to exist. As that life begins cell division (growth and developemnt), the imperative of that individual's identity is passed to every cell, including the placenta and umbilicus that new life builds for the gestational age. When that individual human life has finished constructing the body he or she will use upon exiting the water world for the air world world, coarsing through that human being's blood are stem cells to renew the cells of the body, cells with the same imprint of individuality that were the builders of the placenta and body (but some instructions have been 'turned off, so the cells will not build another placenta). Truly 'the life of the individual human being is in that individual's blood, the same life that began his or her lifetime with the first cell division. [I just added that to give a perspective on the evil that is America's abortion on demand industry, an industry that feeds baby body parts and whole dead baby bodies to the 'fetal tissue harvesting industry' which is now a more than billion dollar industry also.]
Here you have to have as an excuse some reasons, like medical reasons or socialocical, like beeing poor, beeing young or a single mom, having been raped or something like that. But you dont have to proof any of this, so it is easy to get permission. After 22. to 24. week I dont think it is possible to get a permission to have an abortion, as it is within the time that newborns can live if born prematurely with current technology. As to the pill, are you sure you are not confusing it with the emergency pill or the day after pill (postinor) wich women can get over the counter here in Iceland and has decreased the rate of abortions by 5%.
I think that the abortion pill (RU-486) wich is possible to use in the first 8 to 9 weeks is legal here, but it has to be taken under the control and evaluation of a doctor so I beliewe they have to lie in a hospital under examination while the pill is working. It is probably also under the same conditions as actual abortions. The good thing about that is though that it makes it possible to have the abortion much sooner, but actual abortion is I beliewe not possible until after the 7. week. But they make them probably way to easy and increase irresponsibility, making it so easy, just take a pill and the problem goes away.
If an abortion is going to take place anyway it is better that they are done sooner than later, as the fetuses development is less. I beliewe that after 12 weeks it is mostly fully developed and the next six months go mostly into making them bigger and stronger so I feel specially strongly about stopping abortions after 10. to 12. week.
But I do not beliewe it is the same as killing an individual to throw away a lab dish with human embryos as over half of all embryos that come to existance in the human body do not get stuck in the uterus and just go straight through with the montly bleeding of the women. And the emergency pill is not an abortion as it prevents the embryo from getting stuck in the uterous. But I hope that f.e. the coming of artificial wombs will help to save childrens lifes that would otherwise be aborted and maybe even repel this court ruling that allows abortions to take place, even after it is possible to save the life of the infant wich is particularly evil:
