My mother was diagnosed with Myasitis and Scerla Derma two months ago (very rare to have either one and even more to have both.) To make a long story short she was put in intensive care two days ago. She also has an unknown infection that is making all of her vital signs eratic. Yesterday we were told she is as sick as a person can be and could pass away within hours or a day. She was stable enough for some us to stagger the hospital watch tonight. There are some very faint glimmers of hope- but we have been left with no illusions by the doctors. This site has allowed me to forget everything, even for the brief times I have been able to post in the last 48 hours.

I would appreciate any prayers offered for my mother- Mary Ann.

May prayers are with you as well. I have been where you are several times and it is very difficult. Remember that God doesn't give us any more than we are capable of bearing, just sometimes it seems that way. Hang in there, my prayers will include your mother and you.
