It is obvious from everything Moore has said that he placed the monument for the explicit purpose of promoting (his version of) Christianity.
He is a theocrat, and as such is incapable of fairly administering justice to those many citizens of Alabama who do not share his religious beliefs.
If Moore became a Hare Krishna, and put statues of Hindu gods in the courthouse, would that be okay with you?
If your answer is no, then your position is just an unprincipled attempt to force your religious views on others. But then, that's been the real agenda of the Moore/Falwell/Dobson/Robertson crowd all along, hasn't it?

Impossible. The Ten also belong to the Jews and Muslims. It's not a Christian belief.

Irrelevant. The question is: Should the State use force to remove it? The answer is No.

Moore/Falwell/Dobson/Robertson crowd all along, hasn't it?

Ahhh....a conspiracy. Let me get my tin foil hat.

I'm imagining this in mind. What if we had an Ismaic or a Hindu judge and he arranged a statue of his religion to be put in the courthouse yard? How would I feel about that. hmm. I think it'd be an interesting statue and I would look at it. If I got into trouble and had to face that judge in court I would certainly watch very closely to make sure he was fair and possibly vote him out if he wasn't. But if he was a fair judge I wouldn't consider his statue any more that an oddity and wouldn't be too worried about it. I may keep an eye on immigration policy though because being a Christian, I know who the One God is, and I know that if too many people lose sight of the true God and forget His teachings, our nation won't last long.
