He is not a California native. He's also a dual citizen of Austria. Shouldn't we be calling on him to renounce his Austrian citizenship before governing a U.S. state?

I imagine that being a dual citizen and a government employee can cause a conflict of interest. Like when the election winner is sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution during the office-taking ceremony. At a minimum I think Arnold needs to make clear which allegience takes precedence under such circumstances, and be held to it by other government officials and the public. There's probably a lawyer out there somewhere who could give a more informed and authoritative response...

Hadn't heard that. I thought that naturalization carried with it a renunciation of prior citizenship(s). Can you link me to something on his dual citizenship? Couldn't find anything with web searches for his name and "dual citizen," etc.
