I'm sure it will be only minutes that some gov't spokesperson will exclaim that this is NOT TERRORIST RELATED, yet we have no idea what caused it.

What actually occurred previously, within hours, was that officials said there were no indications of terrorist activity. A common sense statement, IMHO (unless there were indications and they lied - not likely).
