Chiron is a top biotech company, FYI. They all do animal testing, of course.

It's time to start shooting these little elf turds.

Very probably real. ELF is guilty of this type of crime.
To: Steve_Seattle
Based on the news reports from KSFO, this is the real deal. At least three separate explosions, bomb squad is currently on site.
When will we take these homegrown terrorists seriously and hunt them down like the animals they are?

NASDAQ is down about 3/10 of 1 percent...not sure that qualifies as "hit hard."

Install your humor upgrade.

Because the administration are going to play politics and refuse to outright condemn the ELF out of fear of losing the support of extreme left wing environmental radicals who would otherwise support GDubya.

AP Wire story:
Three small blasts near Chiron plant in EmeryvilleAssociated Press
Emeryville - Three explosions jarred Emeryville this morning at the headquarters of Chiron, an international pharmaceutical research firm.
Authorities say the first bomb went off around 3 a.m. and the second at 4 a.m..
The third blast, shortly before 7 a.m., was the Alameda County bomb squad detonating a suspicious package found near the facility. The package turned out to be harmless.
Company officials say damage from the two early-morning blasts is minimal and nobody has been hurt.
No claim of responsibility has been reported.
Police say the blasts occurred outside the Chiron facility, not inside.
Chiron employees have been told to say home until 1 p.m..

NASDAQ is down about 3/10 of 1 percent...not sure that qualifies as "hit hard." Nasdaq fell 18 points on new of this explosion. The Dow fell 82 pts. Neither has recovered, so likely used as an excuse for profit taking.
