A well armed citizenry and a decentralized government, you know traditional conservativism.

How would a handgun protect the targets in the WTC? COnservatism espouses limited government. One priority of this government is to protect citizens when they are simply unable to protect themselves, as in the WTC attacks and other terrorist attacks.

It is better to have an army trained to do this than unsuspecting citizens doing this.

Debating the merits of foreign interventions is fine and fair, but you are closing your eyes to the article and the posters who are content to ostensibly have American soldiers take terrorist bullets rather than themselves.
