The point of this forum is to disect the article at hand, not bring every ounce of ideological baggage from thread to thread. In so doing, a common voice emerges.
If you think this author, who no doubt knows nobody in the Middle East frontlines let alone has a child, is a friend and me an ignorant anti-America whatever, fine. Doesn't bother me, but I do sure get a glimpse at the effects of the Kool-Aid you're drinking.
