Greece has been socialist and anti-American for years. Why would you think this has possibilities for the future? I am surprised that they have not yet embraced the Dutch-style "mercy killings."

Greece is 98% Christian. They have the lowest incidence of homosexuality in the world. Most of their intolerances are of the sort I like. :-)

They are socialist, but the biggest reason they are anti-American is all about lifestyles and Christ.

In the eastern Orthodox faith we are rather seclusive and anti-western, even here. We take that command about renouncing this world to an extreme. :-)
