It is routine to dehydrate people and has been for some time now. Just ask around in your personal and professional circles, as I did. I already posted about the aide I work with who told me about removal of the feeding tube for her grandmother many years ago. She is a nice person! She said, well she had dementia and she kept pulling it out, so we said leave it out. She did not see anything wrong with it.
