Heavenly Father, again we are here on behalf of Terri Schiavo. Just today, Lord, the printed word said that "the best decision-maker we can provide is a judge." Father, You established judges for righteous rule ... forgive us for the perversion of their authority. All around us, we see this authority so often twisted for power and personal gain. We have not been praying for those in authority over us, that we might live peaceably. Many are the sins to be forgiven, Lord ... place them under the blood of the Lamb that we might go from here renewed in godly efforts for Terri's life.

Again, Father, we ask that You work in the hearts of the judges who will be hearing and ruling on the family's petition for rehabilitation. Convict each heart that food is sustenance from You ... show points of law that our nation is committed to protecting and not harming. Give legal wisdom and orator eloquence to Terri's team ... open the hearts and the ears of those who will read and listen and decide ... again and again, Father, we petition for Terri's life. Return her to her parents ... reward them for diligence these many years ... let not the state break the bond of family ... let not any judge usurp Your sovereign authority, for in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Be for her ... be for us ... our righteous Judge. Hold back the hands of any who would do her harm. Place a spirit of horror and dread in any who consider withholding what you so freely provide.
