Ok let's do that.

Let's start by finding out if Greer has any more power to do anything in this case. And if he does not, which judge does?

Then let's find out everything we can about that judge and try to come up with a way to influence him. Every human being has a group around them that matters. A church group or a golf club, I don't care which. I am proposing that we find a group that matters to the next judge with any power, and do something to influence that group.

If we do nothing but organize protests, let's make them personal - for the judges. Let's fill the golf green with people with signs and graphics. I don't really see how we have anything to lose by irritating them at this point, but I am certainly open to feedback. This is a group effort and I am just making a suggestion. Feel free to tell me if I am completely losing it. :-)

Also I have noted that the right to kill movement really, really hates Ashcroft. Has anyone thought of contacting him?

MarMema,
Perhaps we could bring the IRS in to look at Schiavo, Felos, and Greer's income and the tax returns they have filed.?! Has Terri's trust tax return been properly filed? I tend to doubt it since many are not.

Greer is not ruling the way he has ruled for "atta' boys" at his social club. What he is getting out of this may not be financial, but he is getting something which is significantly benefiting him. What? We need to find out. It may even be that he and his family have been threatened in some way if he does not rule in Schiavo's favor. We don't know.

The way he has ruled, he will not be elected again. Terri's supporters will see to that. He is not dumb. He knows it.

It may simply be his ego, knowing that if this case goes down the way he wants, his ruling will be sited for as long as 100+ years in cases. Perhaps he wants to personally be the one to set the precedent to kill disabled people.

The media pictures I have seen of this man tell me he is evil, little beedy eyes. People I have spoken to who have been priviledged to attend hearings have stated to me that there is a really eery feling of evil and forboding in his courtroom. Greer? Felos? Schiavo? The presence of the devil himself? I don't know.

I only know one thing. That is we need to think outside the box and rally every avenue of help we can think of.

Those of you who routinely attend religious services, could you please on Saturday contact your minister, rabbi, or priest, bring them abreast of what is going on and ask that they make what is going on with Terri part of their Sunday service. Beg if you have to. I never ask anyone to beg unless things might be desperate. We just might be desperate here.

If we lose this case, "Aunt Nellie", who can't get along very well, who still lives at home, with people to help her, and she can't remember to eat unless someone fixes a plate and makes sure she eats it, will simply waste away because there will no longer be a reason to feed her. I exagerate to make a point (I hope). That is against the 10 commandments. The basic tenents of the 10 commandments are basic to all the faiths.

Let's take off running to help Terri.

If you can come up with additional ways to help terri, we would love it!
Fay
