You know what? It makes for much better press when it's done at the last possible moment. An "emergency suspension" and all that. Perhaps he's going to wait and work the media. I find it difficult to believe he'll do nothing. I'm not as big a fan of his as I am W, but that's probably because I don't know as much about him.
If he's worried about a lawsuit, someone set up a legal defense fund. I'll donate.

Kimmie, it seems to me like Governor Bush wishes all this "Terri stuff" would just go away, and it will by Sept. 21 or so. He has written the letter, and I bet that's all he intends to do, knowing full well that George Greer would not even read the letter. I have no hope at all that Bush will try to suspend Greer and create another judicial firestorm. The Bushes do not like controversies to emerge on their watches. Were Bush to suspend Greer, it is possible that the hospice will not legally recognize Greer's "suspension" and proceed full speed with the starvation.
