Ms. Melone also seems to have a rather short memory. Here is an editorial she did in 2002, sympathizing with the wife of and praising the caretakers of a man who was seriously injured in a life-altering car smash.

Ask Ms. Melone 3 or 4 simple questions about Terri and I'll bet you a case of beer or a new puppy that she can't tell you the answers.

This is one of the most troublesome things to me about Terri's case. The media have been fed SO MUCH misinformation. Most refuse to do their homework. An AP report just the other day used the term "brain dead" to describe Terri's situation.

Yours truly got medieval on their backsides for that little gem.

Even attorney George Felos needs to do his homework. He repeatedly tells the press that a starvation death is perfectly peaceful and non-traumatic.

I think the sad thing is that he knows the truth. He just doesn't seem to care. It's sad alright. Sad and frightening.

The worst thing is that most Americans listen to him and his hired medical thugs and assume they know what they're talking about. It's up to people who do other than watch TV all day and night to get the information out to the American public! And, by gosh, I mean to do as much as I can!

In the case of the media's sources of information, we have an example of how Terri's nutritional situation is being managed.

Most of the media WON'T lift a spoon of accurate information to insert into their reporting...and...they rely on the tube feeding of information by influential biased parties.

The lack of fair, balanced and accurate reporting has been very disturbing and the locals have been the worst.
