Good grief! Shouldn't post in the middle of the night! The significance of post #4590 would have made a lot more sense, if I'd referenced the correct post #4537 by trustandobey.

The fight to save Terri Schiavo’s life

Ironically, during that trial Michael’s attorney, Glenn Woodworth, showed a video of Terri, and argued that, even though she was in a "vegetative state," "you can tell she has some sense of her predicament." He also pointed out to the jury that "[on the film] she knows her husband and looks into his eyes." [St. Petersburg Times, 11/12/92, 1/25/00]

It was Michael Schiavo's attorney in the malpractice suit, Glenn Woodworth, that requested attorney Campbell take the Schindler's lawsuit. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/971896/posts?page=4590#4590 Woodworth must have been so convinced that Terri could be rehabilitated that when Michael Schiavo sought to remove the feeding tube, he requested Pamela Campbell represent the Schindler's in their legal battle against Schiavo.

And quite possibly Woodworth was disgusted to the utmost at finding his client was a bottomfeeder after he won the money for him.

Like those movies where you watch the "innocent" person be defended all along and sigh at the end with relief when he gets off, and then at the very very end, whoops, the guy was the bad guy after all. Not to digress but I just saw one of those recently. Kevin Spacey I think..

I saw the movie, too, but can't remember the title.

I picked up Woodworth's name from trustandobey's post and was looking for his connection to the 'bad guys'. His request to Campbell indicates a change of allegiance.

I haven't been, but my daughter and her photographs confirm nice beaches.

George W. Greer who is as hard-hearted as a traffic court judge in a town which gets all of its revenooooo from giving speeding tickets to outsiders.
Mike Schiavo, the macho bon vivant with a knowledge of CPR, who wasn't smart enough to get life-saving help for his wife when she "collapsed."
Dr. Melvin Greer, the non compos mentis neurologist who had never heard of S. Hawking and can't recall details of an examination he gave a young woman whose life was hanging in the balance.
George Felos, the new age lawyer, student of reincarnation, (If "Felos" means cat, does he get 9 lives?) who wants to '"free us" from our bodily chains.

kimmie, thank you for the info on ACLU siding with the Hemlock Society on the side of right-to-kill.

The Hemlock Society was very busy here in SW Fla over the last fifteen years, at least.

They made appearances at senior centers and nursing homes, letting often lonely and in pain seniors know that they have more pain and further dependency to look forward to, and that a "Living Will" will empower them to stand up to uncaring children and doctors and die at a time of their own choosing and method.

Lonely seniors trust these death peddlers to 'care' about them more than their loved ones. It's a powerfully diabolical sales pitch. Try questioning the 'concern' of right-to-kill advocates with a lonely follower, you then become just one more person trying to strip them of their remaining independence.

With this agenda, there is no faith, hope - or charity.
