"Teachers must also eventually earn a master's degree."

I don't know that I agree with that part. There's no way that an advanced degree makes you a better teacher. It's just a political point with the phony accrediting agencies.

Is there any way we could see a sample of that test?

Sorry, but a Masters Degree is a requirement for all New York State teachers if they want permanent certification. They have up to five years to complete their Masters.

If this test is like any other government test, the teachers are provided with workbooks and sample tests with answers before the test is given. They may even be offered classes on the upcoming tests. I find it hard to believe that some of these folks failed the tests 13 times. They're certainly getting their money's worth from their Union.
