Huh? Did you pay any attention to the election last year? Bill Simon, portrayed as a right-wing extremist and correctly portrayed as a moron, ran the worst political campaign in modern history -- and he *still* came within a few percent of Davis. Why would McClintock, running a better campaign, in a special recall election with highly-motivated GOP voters, not have a chance?
