[history]
A federal judge knocked down Tuesday a Navy plan to deploy submarine-hunting sonar in most of the world's oceans, saying the devices endanger entire populations of whales, porpoises and fish.
Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Laporte of the U.S. District Court in San Francisco said a permanent injunction should be issued that will bar the Navy from using sonar in areas including 14 million square miles, or about 40 percent, of the Pacific Ocean.

Just heard this on Michael Savage, located it on Google news. Hopefully it's not a duplicate post, I searched for it but found nothing.
As Mike said... since when does a federal judge have the right to dictate our Naval activities?

I thought it was just music. ;-)

ROFL. That's hilarious... not because of how scary it is, but because liberal attempts to undermine national security have reached a point of comedy.

I suppose she just created a new international situation by redefining US territory. What is the limit now? Three miles? I know Regan wanted to expand it to Twelve. This Judge just created a new boundary.

So, a federal judge thinks she can make the Navy do as she pleases? She mmight be right.

The enviro whackos have been hunting for a friendly judge on this matter for a long time even though their "proof" that this project will hurt sealife has been refuted time and again. So much for ANOTHER federal judge. I guess if the whackos are allowed to turn over enough rocks they will find a spineless creature sometime.

It isn't just Moore in Alabama. Leftist judges have established a tyranny where it is even impossible to defend the United States from our enemies!

frequency range of 250 to 500 hertz and emits sound at 215 decibelsFinally, something I can hear with my 3H hearing. I'll take two and hook them up to the entertainment center. After I move to far west Texas.

"It's sad. Instead of heeding the judge's message, the Bush administration has gone to Congress for blanket exemptions to undermine today's decision," he said. Boy is that a phrase out of bizzaro-world.

215 Decibels? I don't think that that is right. That's like ten billion 747 engines at 10 feet. I don't think the SHIP would survive it, much less marine-life (or those pesky subs).

So, a federal judge thinks she can make the Navy do as she pleases? She mmight be right. I doubt it.
If the Navy thinks this Sonar system is vital to their interest to maintain national security and keep their butts alive in time of war, Little Elizabeth's power trip of an injunction will be a short one.
Furthermore, the Environwacko judgement has too many holes to stand up.
