If he has changed, could you find it in your heart to forgive him?
He's still preaching moral decadance --- gay "rights" and gay adoption, and anything-goes abortion. Unlike his orgies of old, this hurts society as a whole -- if he gets into a position of power where he can pervert the Republican Party off of its pro-family principles. We don't need a second party that stands for depravity; we already have the Democrats.

If you were a Californian and you have to vote tomorrow for either Arnold Schwarzenegger or Cruz Bustamente for governor. No other choices.
Who would vote for?

On homosexual issues, he will have some say, but not on abortion issues. He does not support redefining marriage to include same sex marriages. So I think the exposure in this area is rather minimal.
The recall is about the fiscal disaster the state is in. Arnold can win this election and set the state finances aright. Social issues are not on the front burner for this election, and no one could make any claims for a mandate in that area.
While some Calis might be swayed by Arnold's social stands, I very much doubt anyone on FR will be. Nor will any person who believes in the sanctity of unborn life, and the evil of homosexuality.
