We home schooled our two youngest children for six years. My wife was nervous at first, but in a short while came to fall completely in love with educating her own children.
My advice: Prepare yourself for a few bumps in the road as you get started. Use your imagination to turn daily activities and tasks into opportunities to teach important lessons. Get involved with other parents who are home schooling children who are close to the ages of your children. Check for information and resources on the Home School Legal Defense Assn's web site. And prepare to see your kids blossom beyond your wildest dreams. God Bless...
