Nobody with the name Jack Woodcock will ever get elected to the U.S. Senate from Arkansas. But he'd be a natural for Nevada, which is where he's running :)

For the good of the national party, I hope we don't have a Senate race in Nevada with a Mormon Democrat running against a Republican named Jack Woodcock. But I can see the headlines now:
"Woodcock Enters Fold"
"Reid Faces Stiff Competition from Woodcock"
"Reid Slams Woodcock on Yucca Mountain"
"Woodcock Rises to Challenge"
"Reid Chips Away at Woodcock"
This is too easy . . .

Another Republican Senator at risk, in my opinion, is Christopher Bond of Missouri. Dispite his longevity, he has never won by more than 55% to 45%. And he faces a credible opponent in state Treaurer Nancy Farmer. In winning her current office, Ms. Farmer polled over 75,000 more votes than Al Gore did in the same year while running against a better-known opponent. Too many Republicans are taking this race for granted.
