What I really want to know is this. Since atheists do not believe in G-d, since basically they believe in nothing, why do they care if other people believe? Why do they feel so threatened by what other people believe? Since to them there is no G-d and nothing higher than themselves, why can't they just be content with that unbelief? Why do they want to make a society that conforms to their nonbelief. Again, why do they feel so threatened? I would posit that Atheism IS a religion. After all, they are organized and have their own associations, etc., etc. It is a cult of nihilism that they honor. Why do they insist that the rest of us do likewise? What are they so afraid of?
