..."Get your hands off our God, God haters!"...

The quote's probably a complete lie.

But don't let that dilute your bias.

..I see a lot of comments about this guy, but how come no mention of how they never portray the left-wingers as they appear at their rallies?...

Thanks for a shot of commonsense, Trebb. Unfortunately, the conservo-atheists hate Christians far more than they do 'left-wingers.'

..ever hear of Hammurabi?...

Yep. What's he got to do, with your legal system?

PS It's a great day for Libertarians, eh?

I'm just hoping that you're not a recruiter for whichever religion you claim to belong to; you know, using expressions like "you godless pr*ck" and all...

..with the exceptions of thou shalt not kill and thou shalt not steal, the rest of the commandments are more like laws the Taliban would enforce....

You're comparing the Founders to the Taliban, now?

..and which foreign religion is being practiced in front of your face now that the monument has been moved from the lobby of the Alabama state courthouse?...

...Political Correctness, the cult of international socialism.

Don't you read Free Republic?

"Maybe this is the rule of law and the marker should be removed..."

Actually, no, it is NOT the rule of law. The Constitution is very specific that the Congress SHALL MAKE NO LAW regarding the establishment of a religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof! The court has usurped the authority of the Constitution and is creating law which it has NO authority to do.

"Why is it that we Americans have to kow-tow to people who come from foreign countries who tell US they are bothered by OUR religious beliefs and symbols and that WE have to refrain or remove our symbols while THEY get to practice their religion in front of OUR face?"

Well, I'm sure if you went to Iran or Saudi Arabia or one of those meccas of religious "tolerance" that the nice Muslims whould be very accommodating if you told them their religious symbols offended you.< /sarcasm >

..well, Godless Atheist, I pity you...

Well said. The guy's posts are instantly forgettable, so he cooks up an offensive tagline.

How pitiful is that?

...and, last time I checked, no one's bibles are being taken away from them and no one is being prohibited from practicing their faith at home or in their church....

Gosh.

Thanks for allowing us that, for a little longer.

Thanks, not that I have anything to do with it, nor do I care to.

Let's just say, I DO have the good sense to recognize that I am really angry right now and would not attempt to persuade anyone of anything out of my anger. I don't normally lose it this bad. I have had about all I can take of the bad guys (liberals/socialists/communists) getting the upper hand. I am very familiar with the scripture that the anger of man works not the righteousness of God. It may be the wrong attitude but it is how I feel right now. I'll work through it, but I will never believe that what they have done is justifiable and I will never accept the defeat of our country and its rich heritage by those for whom God is anathema. With time I hope and pray that God will help me put away "the wrath of man" and leave me only with the righteous anger which comes from God.

..I disbelieve in all of these things. I do not believe they exist. That you believe in a deity does not make that deity exist. It only makes your _belief_ exist...

You're defined by your anti-Christian theology, mate, and you enjoy upsetting and offending those of faith here, solely for your own sick amusement. Have you taken a shot at FR's founder, yet?

I love my country. I love the Constitution. I love life. I love God. I know that the Democrats hate my country, hate the Constitution, hate God and hate human life. freerepublic ^ | 9/21/2002 | Jim Robinson

..if you want to get technical...Christianity is the 'foreign' religion...

...well, it is now. But Christianity was the Founder's raison d'etre, and this website's about the restoration of their Constitutional ideals.

So....why are you here?

But Christianity was the Founder's raison d'etre

Not of all them. Some would argue not even a majority of them.
