The O'Really Pucker-Factor (O'Reilly and Franken deserve each other)

The recent bared-teeth snarlfest between Bill O'Reilly and Al Franken has provided the perfect antidote to the final dog days of summer. Never have two more deserving people found each other - just in time to make one look like a silly bully and the other a best-selling author.

The two have been embroiled over Franken's new book: "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right." The cover includes an unflattering photo of O'Reilly, who is, do we need reminding, the most popular anchor in cable TV.

A lot of people like "The No-Spin Zone". It's more civilized than watching two pit-bulls on crack locked in a cage together and teased with a pointy stick. It's not much more intelligent, however.

Bore O'Reilly and Gual Frankenfart are two sides of a counterfiet coin. They highlight one-another's classlessness in a truely trolodytic fashion.

Bill O'Reilly = the reincarnation of a real life Howard Beal. Wonder if they'll end up meeting the same fate in the ratings?

Highly educational. The more people who see Franken's mask slip to reveal the hideous, racist monster underneath, the better.

They do deserve each other but Franken is a far worse guy. Bill's just full of himself now that he's slightly famous.

I suspect if he were to lose the show, he'd be a lot more humble. Franken, on the other hand, is a jerk famous or non-famous.

O'reilly gave this guy credibility by acknowledging him. If he had ignored him, this book would already be in the used book stores right next to "Stuart Smally".

Al Franken wasnt even funny on Saturday Night Live, why is anyone taking him seriously now?

Noone takes Franken seriously. Liberal pols like to pat him on the top of his head like the well-trained chimpanzee he truely is.

Probably true. Franken is a useful idiot whose stupidity will therefore be bankrolled by its benefactors.

Why FOX News felt the need to validate Franken with a stupid lawsuit I'll never know.
