I believe a few years ago there was a movement in North Bend and other Eastern King County communities to secede from the county and start a new one called Liberty County, I think. More action like this, and I'll expect to see it revived.

North Bend is no place for a facility like this. It's insane to want to site the location there.

You are correct, except that it was to be called Cedar County. I think Liberty County was what eastern Snohomish County would have been named.
